system is also fully secure. "Millennium delivers
a level of security that is created by a 128-bit
encryption ... All files brought into Millennium
are wrapped with our security, given the ability
to be indexed, encrypted, compressed, and tracked
via our audit reporting."
For indexing and searching within the Millennium
system, Convergent EDM chose the dtSearch Text Retrieval
Engine. "dtSearch provides index and search
capability for all document content stored in our
system, including both native and OCR'ed documents,"
explained Daniel R. Schulz, President, Convergent
EDM. "Using dtSearch, we designed a server
based component that is responsible for maintaining
the content index of every document processed."
For its customers, Convergent EDM needed to take
advantage of the full scalability of the dtSearch
Engine. "dtSearch is used by any number of
